The Level 3 Award In Aspects of Preparing to Set Up a New Business (QCF) allows learners a flexible approach to learning about, and preparing for, self employment.

It is designed for those who think they may wish to start a business at some time in the future and want to complete a short programme of preparatory learning about the key aspects of this activity, without actually starting a business.

Learner Support

As part of our partnership with the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs, learners completing this qualification are entitled to 1 years free study membership normally worth £25 provided for by SFEDI Awards.

Progression Routes

All learners gain free studying membership of the Faculty of Enterprise in the IOEE (Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs) for one year. This provides access to a wide range of online support including a community of mentors, groups, forums, meetups and other tailored resources to help participants complete their programme successfully.
